Terms and Conditions of Service (T&C)

Petra Bright Academy, LLC (Membership Agreement)

Company will be active starting January 1st 2026.

Effective Date of uploading conditions: 11/21/2025

Article 1: Acceptance of Terms & Contracting Parties

1.1. This document represents a legally binding agreement between Petra Bright Academy, with the operational headquarters (Hub) located at 721 N Pine Island Rd, Plantation, FL 33324, United States of America 1, hereinafter referred to as "the Academy" or "the Provider," and any physical or legal person purchasing a subscription, hereinafter referred to as "the Member" or "the User".

1.2. Unconditional Acceptance: By purchasing a subscription and accessing the digital platform, the Member confirms that they have read, understood all the info in regard the membership and accessing the services offered by Petra Bright Academy, LLC (hereinafter "the Academy"), the User (hereinafter "the Member") fully and unconditionally accepts the Terms and Conditions stipulated below.

Article 2: Description of Services and Program Duration

2.1. Nature and objects of Services: Services consist of the provision of non-formal education in the field of Artificial Intelligence, delivered through course materials, live webinars, recorded sessions, and collaborative activities. Services include access to all these course materials, live and recorded sessions.

Types of Activities Included: Subject to the chosen membership plan, the Academy is committed to organizing the following types of activities throughout the year:

  • Webinars and Group Sessions (Online, according to a set schedule).

  • Sessions with Professionals: Meetings and special sessions with experts in the field will be organized, with a frequency of once or twice a year.

  • Collaborative Activities: Collaboration activities will be initiated with other companies or institutions, focusing on similar themes or in the English language (to encourage bilingualism and practice).

  • Promotional Events: Promotional events or activities (e.g., contests) will be organized with a frequency of once or twice a year.

  • Camps or In-Person Meetings (Optional): The Academy may organize, optionally and for an extra cost (or included in certain plans), a camp or in-person meetings, conditioned by the number of participants.

  • Professional Orientation: Webinars dedicated exclusively to the subject of jobs and career opportunities for teenagers in the field of AI will be organized.

2.2. Program Structure and Duration: The main curriculum has a standard duration of one (1) calendar year, commencing from the date of membership purchase. The course is structured over an estimated total of 48 weekly classes, structured in 5 modules.

* Recess Periods: The academic calendar includes an operational break of 2 weeks in July, and the final courses of the year will conclude 2 weeks before the end of December.

Group Allocation: Members will be allocated to groups based on time zone and preferences, in accordance with the Academy's operational schedule:

  • International / Romania Group (Monday–Friday) – one session at choise:

    • Session 1: 17:15 – 19:00 (Romania Time) / 10:15 AM – 12:00 PM (EST - Florida).

    • Session 2: 19:00 – 20:45 (Romania Time) / 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM (EST - Florida).

  • USA Group (Monday–Friday):

    • Evening Session: 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM (EST - Eastern Standard Time).

  • Weekend Sessions: Available exclusively upon request, through the use of the platform's messaging options.

2.3. Responsibility for Attendance: It is the exclusive responsibility of the Member to convert the displayed times (EST/Romania Time) to local time and ensure participation in the chosen weekly sessions (one session per week)

2.4 The total sessions time for minors under 18 will not exceed a total of 15 hours or 10 sessions weekly.

Article 3: Membership Terms and Access

3.1. Exclusive Access: Access to course materials, the platform, and group sessions is strictly limited to Members with an active and paid subscription. Any attempt to share the password or materials with third parties will result in immediate termination of access.

3.2. Termination of Access: If the Member cancels or does not renew their subscription, they will immediately lose access to the platform, materials, future sessions, and all other associated benefits. The Member is not entitled to materials that were not yet taught at the time of subscription termination.

Article 4: Payment and Billing

4.1. Payment Methods: Subscription and Renewal: Members are implied to maintain an active subscription (monthly or annually) to benefit from access. Failure to pay on time results in the automatic suspension of access to the platform and materials. “The Academy” accepts various payment methods, including, but not limited to: Card payment (via secure processors). National/International Bank Transfer (IBAN/USA). * Fast electronic payments (as Revolut & Zelle).

Manual Payment Validation: For payments made via bank transfer (IBAN/Zelle/Revolut), the Member agrees to complete a transaction confirmation form and provide the transaction reference number and/or proof of payment for manual validation by the Administration.

Article 5: Cancellation and No Refund Policy

5.1. General Principle (No Refund): Given the digital nature of the services and immediate access to the Academy's intellectual property, the Academy generally offers no refunds, partial or integral, once access to the platform has been granted and payment processed.

5.2. Exceptions: Refunds are at the exclusive discretion of the Administration and are applied only in exceptional cases, for uncovered services by company fault solely.

Article 6: Intellectual Property: All course materials, presentations, website design, and video/audio content are the exclusive property of Petra Bright Academy. Unauthorized copying, distribution, use or share of these materials is strictly prohibited and entails legal liability.

Article 7: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and the federal laws of the United States of America.

7.2. Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the Academy's registered office (Plantation, FL).

7.3. Modifications: The Academy reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time32. Members will be notified of any major changes.

3.2. Profile Data: We collect the Parent/Guardian's name, email, and phone number, as well as the Member's name, age, and class level, strictly for service delivery.

3.3. Usage Data: We automatically track activity (login history, course progress) to improve service quality.
